Senior Procurement Specialist

Senior Procurement Specialist
This role conducts negotiations and manages spend for certain contracts. Employees in this role serve as a Point Of Contact (POC) for certain assigned contracts, and execute purchases in alignment with category strategies. The individual works to ensure operational procurement process improvement strategies are achieved while balancing any associated risk with the purchases. This role would also act as a mentor and trainer to less experienced team members.

Job Duties & Responsibilities:
- Conducts negotiations
- Executes cost savings opportunities
- Develops and manages supplier relationships, including serving as POC for certain supplier contracts
- Performs analysis on market trends and risk assessments
- Performs other job-related duties as assigned
Required Qualifications:
- High School Grad / GED
- Bachelor's or Equivalent Experience
- Experience: 4+ years
Preferred Qualifications:
- Master's Degree
