Job Title: RN - Med Surg - Travel


Location: Alexandria, LA


Pay: $90 per hour


Shifts: 7PM - 7AM


Seven Healthcare are seeking a dedicated RN with Med Surg specialty to join a travel assignment in Alexandria, LA. This position focuses on post-surgical patients including orthopedics, general surgery, and neuro populations. With a flexible environment, candidates must be willing to float as needed.

Key Responsibilities of the RN - Med Surg - Travel

• Provide nursing care utilizing the nursing process including assessment, diagnosis, planning, intervention, and evaluation for assigned patients
• Address complex psychological, emotional, cultural, and social needs of patients and families
• Administer medications and treatments, monitoring for side-effects and effectiveness
• Document patient history, symptoms, medication, and care given
• Assess learning needs and provide education to patients and caregivers

Requirements of the RN - Med Surg - Travel

• BLS certification via AHA required
• RN License in state of employment or compact
• Epic experience and completion of at least one travel assignment required
• Willingness to float as needed
• 1 year of experience in the related nursing specialty preferred
