Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) Job Responsibilities Include: Admissions, discharge, and transfers of residents Medication requisitions with pharmacy and physicians Medication administration Following infection control, emergencies, and other center policies Collaborating with resident's interdisciplinary team to provide the best outcomes Identifying and reporting all abnormal changes in residents' condition to proper personnel per center policy Working under direct supervision in accordance with the state-specific Nurse Practice Act, facility policies and procedures, and nursing judgment Delivering nursing care to patients/residents requiring long-term or rehabilitative care Collecting patient/resident data, making observations, and reporting pertinent information related to care Implementing patient/resident plans of care in accordance with state-specific regulations and evaluating patient/resident response Directing and supervising care given by other nursing personnel in selected situations Maintaining knowledge of necessary documentation requirements Maintaining knowledge of equipment set-up, maintenance, and use (e.g., monitors, infusion devices, drain devices) Maintaining confidentiality and patient/resident rights regarding all information Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) Qualifications: LPN licensed by the State CPR Certification required Two years prior nursing experience preferred If you are passionate about helping others and making a difference in the lives of residents, apply today.
