Role - Data Governance Product Owner Experience Required - 6+ Years
Must Have Technical/Functional Skills
- Hands-on experience in products that support data lineage, metadata, and data management
- Agile and Scrum: Proficiency in these methodologies is crucial for managing product backlogs, prioritizing features, and working with development teams.
- Product Management Tools: Familiarity with tools like Jira, Trello, or similar platforms for managing tasks, backlogs, and user stories.
- Data Analysis: The ability to interpret data, identify trends, and use this information to make product decisions.
- API Basics: Understanding how APIs work is important for integrating different systems and understanding the technical limitations and possibilities of a product.
- Data Governance: Experience with tools like Collibra, Informatica, or other data governance platforms.
Roles & Responsibilities
- Product Design and Strategy: Collaborate with the tech team to define business requirements for the EDM Metadata Hub.
- Participate in backlog grooming and prioritization to ensure alignment with organizational goals.
- Feature Ideation and Validation: Contribute to the ideation of core features for metadata ingestion, management, and retrieval.
- Engage with stakeholders to validate feature requirements and ensure alignment with user needs.
- Requirement Definition: Work with tech partners to gather and define requirements for the Metadata Hub, focusing on centralized metadata ingestion, management, and retrieval.
- Collaborate on defining product roadmap for EDM metadata hub
- Backlog Management: Participate in backlog grooming, prioritization, and sprint planning with tech partners to align Metadata Hub delivery with product milestones.
- Delivery Oversight: Act as the product liaison to ensure tech partners deliver Metadata Hub components on schedule and according to product specifications.
- Stakeholder Collaboration: Facilitate stakeholder feedback sessions to validate Metadata Hub features and ensure they meet business requirements.
