Position Summary:

Cherokee Nation Integrated Health (CNIH) is seeking a Registered Nurse to provide tele-health assessment monitoring and on-site clinical support for CDCs Occupational Health Clinics. This role requires expertise in occupational health emergency response and medical examinations.

Starting Salary Range for Registered Nurse: $48.00 $50.00 per hour

Essential Functions Duties & Responsibilities:

Includes the following:

Provide occupational health care including medical examinations clearances and first aid services.

Implement routine and emergency occupational health services.

Perform nursing interventions including surveillance medical clearance exams pre-travel consultations and non-occupational incident management.

Administer immunizations tuberculin skin tests spirometry testing vision tests and 12-lead electrocardiograms.

Conduct phlebotomies and other diagnostic testing interventions.

Document interventions in CDCs electronic medical record system.

Maintain on-site stock of medications and participate in quality assurance/quality improvement activities.

Support CDC staff during public health emergencies through monitoring and consultation.

Perform other job-related duties as assigned.

Supervisory Responsibilities:

No supervisory/management authority

Basic Qualifications:

Graduate or higher-level degree in Nursing from an accredited program.

Graduate or higher-level degree in Nursing from an accredited program.

Accredited by the Commission on Collegiate Nursing Education (CCNE) or other recognized accrediting body.

Minimum of 5 years of experience in occupational health or related clinical settings.

Experience in performing diagnostic tests and administering treatments in a clinical environment.

Experience in emergency response and managing health incidents.

Strong clinical skills in providing occupational health services.

Proficiency in using medical record software and data analysis tools.

Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

This position requires an active Public Trust clearance or the ability to obtain a Public Trust clearance to be considered.

Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer; may occasionally require standing or moving about the office for extended periods.

Must pass pre-employment qualifications of Cherokee Federal.

Work Environment:

Work is performed primarily in a climate-controlled environment.
