Quick Facts: Location: St. Louis, MO Start Date: 10/19/2026 End Date: 04/19/2027 Shift: Day shift, Monday-Thursday (8:00 AM–5:00 PM) Hours/week: 32 hours Employment Type: Contract with the possibility of transition to perm Licenses/Certifications: MO and IL licenses (preferred for telehealth), BC in genetics required, BLS, BNDD, DEA Experience: 2-5 years minimum, strong diagnostic skills in genetics and metabolic conditions Pay & Benefits: Hourly Rate: $156/hr Pay package discussed upon application Benefits include: Competitive pay packages Weekly pay schedule via direct deposit Comprehensive medical benefits (W-2) Paid sick time in accordance with applicable laws Licensure, certification, travel, and other reimbursements What You’ll Do: Conduct general genetics evaluations and manage biochemical/metabolic disorders Provide inpatient consults across PICU, NICU, and pediatric wards Collaborate with genetic counselors, nurses, and support staff Participate in outpatient clinics and inpatient care support Use EPIC EMR software for charting and documentation Support new hospital developments with state-of-the-art facilities upon completion What You Need: Required: Board Certified (BC) in Genetics 2-5 years of relevant clinical experience Valid MO and IL medical licenses (or candidate licensure eligibility) BLS certification BNDD and DEA certifications Preferred: Experience with metabolic disorders Ability to collaborate effectively within multidisciplinary teams About the Assignment: This role is based at a top pediatric hospital in St. Louis, highly ranked nationally, with complex care programs including cardiology, neonatology, cancer care, and neurology. The facility features a new, modern building under construction, set to expand its capacity and technology. The position involves outpatient clinics, inpatient consults, and support for metabolic/genetic evaluations.
