Job Opportunity: Plastic Surgeon
The Department of Plastic Surgery at our organization in Southern California is on the lookout for board-eligible or board-certified plastic surgeons to join our expanding team. This growth reflects the increasing demand for our services in the region.
Key Responsibilities- Deliver exceptional patient care in various adult subspecialty areas, including microsurgery for breast and limb reconstruction.
- Engage in aesthetic and body contouring procedures, as well as complex wound care.
- Participate in clinical research and contribute to innovative practices.
- Educate and mentor integrated plastic surgery residents and medical students as a full-time faculty member.
- Perform a comprehensive range of procedures within the specialty.
- ABPS board-certified or board-eligible, with completion of residency training in an accredited plastic surgery program.
- Additional fellowship training in breast microsurgery or general microsurgery is preferred.
- Strong clinical skills, with a passion for research and teaching.
As a faculty member, you will be part of a collaborative environment that emphasizes interdependence for optimal patient outcomes. Our plastic surgery residency program has been continuously accredited since its inception in 1995 and is one of the original integrated residency programs.
Compensation and BenefitsThe starting base compensation ranges from $350,000 to $450,000, adjusted according to experience and faculty rank. This figure does not include variable compensation or additional productivity incentives, which will be discussed during the recruitment process.
