Head, Resourcing & Metrics

For our client, we are seeking a Head Resourcing & Metrics to join the team of a leader in the Pharmaceuticals & Biotech space. This role will lead operational priorities focused on execution quality, efficiency, safety, and measurable performance outcomes. You will collaborate with field leadership, support functions, and cross-functional stakeholders to improve accountability, service delivery, and operational consistency. The position offers the opportunity to influence operational scale, customer outcomes, and organizational performance within a life sciences environment. Location: South San Francisco, CA - US based candidates only, no visa sponsorship available Compensation: $201,300 – $373,800 annually Responsibilities Oversee enterprise-wide resourcing and budget tracking strategies Drive planning governance between cross-functional teams and stakeholders Lead development of metrics frameworks to measure organizational performance Engage with leadership for data-driven insights and resource optimization Manage multi-year planning and forecasting processes for budget alignment Establish operating rhythms for resource data tracking and investment planning Mentor and develop team members to thrive in a dynamic environment Qualifications Bachelor's degree required; Master's degree preferred 15+ years in business operations, enterprise planning, or financial governance 6+ years in managerial roles overseeing senior professionals Experience in resource planning and analytics in complex organizations, ideally within life sciences or healthcare Strong stakeholder management and influencing skills, particularly with senior executives Proficiency in enterprise planning tools like Anaplan and Tableau Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written Benefits Strong focus on leadership development and autonomy Opportunities for engaging in cross-functional initiatives Access to enterprise-level decision-making forums Support for high-level strategic and operational thinking Involvement with innovative planning tools and analytical methodologies Our client is an equal opportunity employer.
