About the Position

Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: Nursing Specialty: Emergency Room Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Night 3x12-Hour Hours per Shift: 12 Experience: Minimum of 2 years in an Emergency Room setting License: Valid RN license required Certifications: BLS, ACLS, PALS, NIHSS, and de-escalation certification required Must-Have: - Experience in a large, urban, fast-paced Emergency Department with significant volume - Ventilated patient experience required - EPIC charting system experience required - Level 1 trauma experience preferred - Must provide weekend coverage with 4 weekend shifts per contract - Patient ratio is 1:5 Description: Orientation is held twice a month. All candidates must have a minimum of 2 years ER experience. Experience in handling ventilated patients is essential. Candidates must have experience in a large, urban Emergency Department with significant patient volume. Every other weekend coverage is required, with 4 weekend shifts per contract. Daily patient volume is approximately 210 visits. Candidates must support patient care technicians and medics. Travel experience is required. Preference will be given to candidates with Level 1 trauma center experience. Candidates must comply with a no locals policy. Travelers with only one DUI on record, occurring more than one year ago, may be considered. Blocked scheduling will not be accommodated. Previous work history at related locations will require HR approval for rehire status.
