Forklift OperatorWe are seeking a reliable and safety-focused Forklift Operator to work in a cold storage warehouse environment. The ideal candidate will be responsible for safely operating forklifts to move, load, unload, and organize products while maintaining efficiency and accuracy in sub-zero or refrigerated conditions.Key ResponsibilitiesOperate forklifts (stand-up, sit-down, reach truck, or pallet jack) safely in cold storage conditionsLoad, unload, move, and stack products according to warehouse proceduresPick and stage orders accurately for shipmentPerform daily forklift inspections and report maintenance issuesFollow all safety, food safety, and OSHA guidelinesWork in freezer and refrigerated areas for extended periodsMaintain clean and organized work areasUse RF scanners or warehouse management systems as requiredAssist with inventory counts and stock rotation (FIFO)Work EnvironmentCold storage environment (freezer and refrigerated temperatures, may be below 0°F / -18°C)Required use of cold-weather protective gear (provided or required)Physically demanding role, including standing, lifting, bending, and reachingQualificationsValid forklift certification (or ability to obtain certification)Previous warehouse or cold storage experience preferredAbility to work in cold temperatures for extended periodsStrong attention to detail and safety awarenessAbility to lift up to 50 lbsReliable attendance and punctualityScheduleFull-timeShifts may include nights, weekends, and overtime as needed
