Correctional Health Services Administrator RN

Correctional Health Services Administrator RN provides comprehensive nursing care to inmates, collaborates with security personnel, and maintains compliance with facility protocols. This 8-week role supports the organization's mission to deliver high-quality healthcare within secure environments.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide comprehensive nursing care to inmates, including assessments, treatments, and health education.
• Collaborate with security personnel to maintain a safe and secure environment during health interventions.
• Document all patient interactions and treatments accurately in electronic health records (EHR).
• Execute emergency procedures and respond to urgent health issues promptly.
• Maintain compliance with security protocols and facility rules during shifts.

Qualifications:

• Valid Registered Nurse (RN) license in Tennessee
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
• Valid CPR certification
• Minimum of 2 years of corrections experience as a registered nurse
• Ability to work in a secure environment with background clearance pending confirmation
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to perform under security measures with a guard present during shifts

Preferred Skills:

• Prior experience working with inmates or in a correctional health setting
• Health Services Administrator (HSA) experience
