American Traveler is hiring an experienced Med/Surg Cardiac RN for a night shift position at a Level 1 trauma center, requiring 2+ years of recent Med/Surg experience in a large hospital setting. Details

Acute care Med/Surg Cardiac unit (6CD) within a Level 1 trauma hospital 32-bed unit with patient ratios of 4-5:1 on day shift and 5-6:1 on night shift 12-hour night shifts with every other weekend and every other holiday required Schedule rotation pattern may vary by cycle, including shifts between days and nights across different schedule periods Self-scheduling available, though adjustments may be needed to balance unit staffing needs Required to float to any Med/Surg unit at any of the 3 Sanford Medical Centers in Fargo Uses Epic EMR, Omnicell, and Alaris IV pumps Requirements

Active ND or Compact RN license required Current BLS certification (AHA) required NIHSS certification required or willingness to obtain prior to start Minimum 2 years of recent Med/Surg experience required Experience in a large hospital setting with 250+ beds required Cardiac experience preferred but not required Experience with Epic EMR required Additional Information
