Orthodontic Assistant

Pay: $19.00–$22.00 per hour , based on experience

My Smile Orthodontist is looking for a positive, dependable, and motivated Orthodontic Assistant to join our growing team!

Modern Technology

Schedule & Location

This position requires traveling between our Newtown, PA and Holland, PA offices on a rotating schedule. The offices are only about 11 minutes apart , making travel quick and convenient.

Office Hours

• Monday: 10:00 AM – 6:00 PM
• Tuesday–Friday: 8:00 AM – 4:00 PM

Qualifications

• Orthodontic assisting experience preferred (dental assisting experience will also be considered)
• X-ray certification is a plus but is not required upon hire
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Positive attitude with a strong work ethic
• Reliable, organized, and eager to learn
• Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
• Passion for delivering outstanding patient care and creating an exceptional patient experience

Responsibilities

• Assist the orthodontist in providing exceptional patient care
• Prepare treatment rooms and ensure instruments and supplies are ready
• Take diagnostic photographs and radiographs (when certified)
• Assist with orthodontic procedures, including bracket placement, wire changes, and digital 3D scanning
• Educate patients and parents on oral hygiene, appliance care, and treatment expectations
• Maintain accurate patient records and clinical documentation
• Assist with scheduling and other administrative duties as needed
• Help maintain a clean, organized, and welcoming clinical environment
