Qualified candidates must be ready to hit the ground running, creating high-quality content for KING 5 Sports and the news department under challenging deadlines. Responsibilities Creatively and efficiently edit content including packages, bold opens, mobile shorts, specials, and teases for linear, digital, and streaming platforms. Edit high‑impact sports specials featuring innovative and energetic graphics that showcase our sports partners: the Seahawks, Kraken, and Mariners. Operate non‑linear edit systems, with experience in Edius and Adobe Creative Cloud (Premiere, After Effects & Photoshop). Have strong organizational skills with the ability to co‑produce content. Provide a confident, risk‑taking, creative vision. Be able to work flexible hours, including nights and weekends. Uphold personal integrity, teamwork, accountability, problem solving and a strong work ethic. Requirements 1‑3 years of experience video editing in a newsroom, knowledge of Edius. Strong graphic creation skills. Writing experience on linear and digital platforms. Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience. Union: SAGAFTRA represented. Pay Range: $21.65 – $27.09 USD.
