Read below for more information!This position is temp-to-hire.What You’ll Do as a Quality Inspector:Set up inspection equipment for use on the production floorComplete first article inspection on productComplete in-process floor inspection and product verification using approved in-process documents as requiredTrain production staff on proper use of gages and in-process inspection documentationInstruct production staff on part defects, tagging of defective parts and how to dispose of the tagged partsWork as a team member to solve and prevent occurrence of quality spills and issuesPerform 5S and follows company policy on 5S and LeanWhat You Need to Bring to the Quality Inspector Role:High School diploma or GED1+ year of experience in Quality Inspection in a manufacturing environmentAbility to read and interpret documents such as operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manualsAbility to read and interpret blueprintsAbility to speak effectively before groups of employeesAbility to work with mathematical concepts such as geometry and trigonometryAbility to apply concepts such as fractionsAbility to transfer metric into decimal equivalentAbility to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of variables in situations where only limited standardizations existsAbility to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form Ability to set variable gagesEnjoy weekly pay, access to health coverage options through Benefits in a Card (including preventative and minimum value plans), and temp-to-hire opportunities for long-term stability where applicable.
