Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: Nursing Specialty: Labor and Delivery Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Night Hours per Shift: 12 Experience: Minimum 2 years License: Compact license required Certifications: ACLS, AWHONN Intermediate, BLS, NRP Must-Have: Labor and postpartum experience Description: The role involves working in a labor and delivery unit. Candidates must have prior experience with labor and postpartum care. Ratios will be 1:3. First-time travelers are accepted. Certification in Advanced AWHONN is preferred. Floating between similar units may be required. Local candidates are not accepted. A pending license cannot be accepted. Requests for time off must be included at the time of application. Cancellations due to rate changes after signature will result in a systemwide Do Not Return. Must commit to working 3 out of the 5 major holidays. References covering one year within the last 3 years are required. Providers may need to float between sister facilities. Travelers cannot reach out to facility contacts unless for an agreed-upon interview. Modules will be required pre-start and annually. Compliance must be adhered to before the start date.
