Carpenter Craftsman

We are looking for a capable and skilled carpenter to join our team. You'll take direction from the project manager to help construct and maintain strong and long-lasting buildings and products. You are great at reading blueprints and have excellent hand dexterity, with a can-do attitude. If you're looking for good pay, guaranteed hours, and a job you can take pride in that lets you work with your hands and build something different every day, apply now!Compensation:$18 - $25 hourlyResponsibilities:Sculpt and piece together siding, drywall, kitchen cabinets, and furnitureBuild door and window frames, stairways, rafters, and partitionsConfirm flooring, roofing, and drywall are level and compatibleCheck existing sketches and blueprints to understand project requirementsConduct inspections, maintenance, and fix structuresPerform framing and structural repairsRepair wood rot and damaged deckingInstall windows, doors, siding, trim, and exterior componentsAssist with roofing systems as neededEnsure all work is level, plumb, square, and built to codeMaintain clean and professional job sitesCommunicate clearly with project managersQualifications:In-depth knowledge of carpentry tools, materials, and techniquesDriver's license requiredHigh school diploma or GED preferredAccurate measuring and math skills requiredStrong physical condition and excellent hand dexterity3+ years of carpentry experience requiredStrong understanding of residential constructionExperience with exterior systems preferredAbility to read scopes of work and follow job specificationsReliable transportation requiredValid driver's license requiredMust have own basic toolsAbility to work outdoors in Texas heatStrong work ethic and accountabilityWe are not looking for shortcuts.
