Medical-Surgical Telemetry Registered Nurse (MS/Tele RN)

Location - Warrensville Heights, OH

Duration - 13 Weeks

Position Overview:
Seeking an experienced Medical-Surgical Telemetry Registered Nurse to provide high-quality patient care in a fast-paced acute care environment. Candidates must have recent Med/Surg Telemetry experience and be comfortable caring for patients requiring continuous cardiac monitoring.

Required Qualifications:

• Active Ohio RN License or Compact RN License (must be in hand)
• Minimum 18 Months of Recent Medical-Surgical Telemetry Experience
• Minimum 18 Months of Permanent Med/Surg Telemetry Experience
• AHA BLS Certification
• AHA ACLS Certification

Required Clinical Skills:

• Medical-Surgical Nursing
• Telemetry Monitoring
• Cardiac Rhythm Interpretation
• Acute Patient Assessment
• Medication Administration
• Care Planning and Coordination
• Patient and Family Education

Orientation Requirements:

• ECG Rhythm Recognition Assessment
• SafeMedicate Examination
• Acceptable scores required on both assessments
• PBDS Assessment Waived

Key Responsibilities:

• Monitor and interpret cardiac rhythms
• Perform comprehensive patient assessments
• Administer medications and treatments safely
• Collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary teams
• Respond to changes in patient condition
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation
