LOAN ANALYST

Duties
Provides support and assistance to the Farm Loan Chief, Farm Loan Specialists, and County Offices that perform a range of lending activities, closing, disbursement, monitoring, liquidating, and servicing of agricultural loans.
Works collaboratively with Farm Loan Officers and loan staff under the direction of the District Director and the Farm Loan Manager.
Performs analysis, evaluation, and advisory assignments related to the effective delivery of loan making and servicing activities.
Assists in the formulation and implementation of farm loan programs, policies, and procedures for the assigned farm loan area.
Works with customers to assess their needs and provides information or assistance in resolving their issues.
Communicates with borrowers regarding loan status, status of pending requests, and standard loan fund policies and procedures.
Provides technical advice and assistance on less complex matters concerning loan making.
Identifies, analyzes, and makes recommendations to resolve conventional problems and situations in farm loan making.
Reviews, evaluates, and independently completes preliminary underwriting for loan cases.
