Location: Newport Beach, California 92663 Assignment Duration: 3 Months (Possible Extension) Schedule: Full-Time | 1st Shift (7:00 AM 3:30 PM) Weekend Requirement: Every other weekend

Job Summary

The Storeroom Inventory Specialist is responsible for managing inventory operations, including receiving, storing, tracking, and distributing supplies across departments. This role ensures optimal stock levels, accurate inventory records, and efficient supply chain processes while maintaining compliance with regulatory standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Process requisitions by pulling and delivering stock items to requesting departments
• Receive, handle, and distribute special order items to appropriate departments
• Conduct weekly inventory counts to support accurate ordering and stock control
• Maintain accurate inventory records to ensure availability of supplies
• Ensure supplies are maintained at appropriate par levels
• Monitor inventory trends and notify management of overstock or shortages in a timely manner
• Receive and store products in compliance with policies, procedures, and regulatory standards
• Manage the acquisition, storage, and tracking of all inventory items
• Support procurement activities including sourcing and maintaining supplies
• Collaborate with internal departments and supply chain teams to optimize sourcing strategies
• Identify inefficiencies or compliance gaps and implement corrective actions
• Perform additional duties as assigned

Required Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent work experience
• 6 months to 1 year of experience in inventory management (hospital experience preferred)
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
• Strong organizational and problem-solving skills
• Understanding of inventory control practices and operational efficiency

Preferred Qualifications

• 12 years of inventory experience in a hospital setting
• Familiarity with automated inventory control systems
• Experience in supply chain operations within healthcare
