Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP)
Department: Speech Therapy
Shift: Monday to Friday, 8:00 AM–4:30 PM (40 hours per week)
Responsibilities
- Diagnose, treat, and prevent speech, language, and swallowing disorders.
- Develop individualized treatment and therapy plans for a diverse patient population.
- Perform screenings to detect voice or speech disorders.
- Educate patients and their families about speech disorders, their causes, and related disabilities or traumatic events.
- Maintain detailed records of patient conditions, care plans, therapies, and progress.
- Report patient progress and current status to relevant parties, including family members, teachers, or other medical professionals.
Requirements
- Current State of Oregon Speech-Language Pathologist license.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience.
- Experience with pediatric and adult patients in both inpatient and outpatient therapy settings.
