Schedule / Job Type

Contract | Days (3x12 Hours, 7:00–19:00) | Onsite | Every other weekend required

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct nursing care to an adult and geriatric patient population with oncology and hematology diagnoses across the continuum from diagnosis through end-of-life
• Manage oncologic emergencies and DNR/comfort care situations in accordance with facility protocols
• Administer and monitor complex pain management therapies including morphine drips, dilaudid drips, CADD pumps, and PCA pumps
• Adhere to chemotherapy precaution protocols when applicable
• Document accurately using Epic and follow SBAR communication standards; utilize Pyxis for medication management
• Float within the facility as needed; occasional off-unit assignments may occur

Required Qualifications

• Active RN licensure in Georgia or a Compact state required at time of submission
• Minimum of 2 years of oncology nursing experience (first-time travelers accepted)
• BLS certification required
• OCN (Oncology Certified Nurse) certification required
• Proficiency with Epic EMR required

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Experience with hematology patient populations
• Familiarity with Pyxis medication dispensing systems and SBAR communication framework
• Prior travel nursing experience in an oncology setting
