We are seeking a passionate Cardiology Physician to provide exceptional cardiovascular care at our esteemed Gettysburg Hospital. What You’ll Do: Deliver comprehensive cardiology consultations, hospital call coverage, and perform advanced procedures including ECHOs, NEPS, and Nuclear Testing. Collaborate closely with in-office staff and hospital teams to ensure seamless patient care. Manage an average of 20 hospital patients and 18 clinic patients per day, focusing on both acute and chronic conditions. Support a balanced schedule with one week of hospital call (Monday 7 AM to Monday 7 AM) and one week of clinic work (Monday to Friday, 8 AM to 5 PM). Utilize EPIC EMR system to document and coordinate care effectively. What You’ll Bring: Board-eligible or Board-certified in Cardiology. Valid medical license, DEA certification, and necessary credentials. Strong clinical skills with experience in general cardiology practice. Excellent communication, teamwork, and decision-making skills. Nice to Have Skills: Additional certifications in advanced cardiovascular procedures. Prior experience in a hospital and outpatient setting. Familiarity with telemedicine practices. Preferred Education and Experience: Medical degree (MD or DO) from an accredited institution. Recent experience in cardiology practice, ideally within hospital and outpatient environments. Credentialing completed within 120 days; temps available with a clean file. Additional Requirements: Licensed to practice in the state. Willingness to participate in a rotating schedule, including hospital call and clinic shifts.
