Travel Registered Nurse – Operating Room

Schedule / Job Type

Contract | 13-Week Assignment | Night Shift | 7:00 PM – 7:00 AM | Onsite

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct perioperative nursing care to patients throughout the operative experience, including pre-op, intraoperative, and post-op phases
• Assist surgical team members during a variety of operative procedures in a fast-paced OR environment
• Maintain a sterile field and adhere to infection control and safety protocols
• Accurately document patient assessments, interventions, and outcomes in accordance with facility standards
• Collaborate with surgeons, anesthesiologists, and interdisciplinary team members to ensure optimal patient outcomes

Required Qualifications

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license valid in the state of Nevada or compact licensure eligibility
• Minimum 2 years of Operating Room nursing experience
• Current BLS certification required
• Ability to work night shifts (7:00 PM – 7:00 AM)
• Must meet travel nursing placement requirements for a 13-week contract assignment

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Experience in a high-volume or trauma-level OR setting
• Familiarity with a broad range of surgical specialties and procedures
• Prior travel nursing experience
