Company Description Center for Discovery has been providing residential and outpatient treatment for adults and teens for over 20 years. The organization offers specialized programs for individuals with eating disorders, teens with mental health disorders, and teens with substance use concerns, with each location dedicated to a single area of focus. Treatment is provided in residential neighborhood homes and outpatient facilities to foster comfort, familiarity, and smoother transition back to daily life. Role Description The Registered Dietitian is a full-time, on-site role based in Plano, TX, responsible for providing comprehensive nutrition assessment and counseling to clients within Center for Discovery’s specialized treatment programs. Day-to-day responsibilities include developing individualized meal plans, monitoring nutritional status, and collaborating with a multidisciplinary team to align nutrition interventions with therapeutic goals. The dietitian will provide psychoeducation on nutrition and recovery, facilitate groups focused on food, body image, and healthy eating, and support clients during meals and snacks to promote normalized eating behaviors. The role also involves documenting care in accordance with clinical and regulatory standards, participating in treatment planning and family meetings, and contributing to ongoing program development and quality improvement. Qualifications Current Registered Dietitian (RD or RDN) credential and eligibility for state licensure in Texas; bachelor’s or master’s degree in nutrition, dietetics, or a related field. Experience in eating disorder treatment, mental health, or substance use settings, with strong skills in nutrition assessment, care planning, and counseling. Ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team (therapy, medical, nursing) and communicate clearly with clients, families, and colleagues. Strong organizational, documentation, and time-management skills, with the ability to manage a caseload and maintain clinical records in accordance with standards. Demonstrated commitment to person-centered, trauma-informed, and culturally sensitive care, with a non-judgmental, recovery-oriented approach. Comfort facilitating nutrition and psychoeducation groups, supporting therapeutic meals, and engaging adolescents and adults in a supportive manner. CPR/First Aid certification or willingness to obtain, and familiarity with residential or outpatient behavioral health environments is preferred. #J-18808-Ljbffr
