Security Clearance: None/Not Required Responsibilities Build large and small components of life rafts using many different types of materials. Document required steps and signatures for quality assurance. Follow quality procedures and documentation accurately. Bond materials together using adhesives. Maintain high levels of quality. Maintain high levels of safety for yourself and others and be responsible for wearing/using defined PPE. Work and communicate effectively in a complex team environment. Spend 100% of time on production floor with variable amounts of noise. Daily exposure to adhesive and solvent vapors. Ability to wear gloves (including latex) to protect hands while working with production chemicals. Minimal exposure to machinery with moving parts. Use and manipulate clamps, brushes (with gloves on), pushers, scissors, seam tape and talc. Qualifications Typically requires HS diploma (or equivalent, e.g., GED) or vocational/technical education in a related discipline. Preferred Qualifications Manufacturing/assembly experience.
