Elementary School Testing Coordinator 2026-2027

Qualifications Bachelor’s degree from a recognized, accredited college or university, a master’s degree preferred Valid Texas teaching certificate A minimum of three (3) years of successful experience as a classroom teacher is required Terms Of Employment Probationary/Term Contract: 187 days Salary $64,207 (IA-3) Salary Range (based on experience) as set by the Board of Trustees Essential Functions Coordinate, order materials, provide training, and maintain confidentiality and test security for all assessments within the federal and state assessment program platforms. Ensure data integrity as related to district and state testing and accountability systems. Train and maintain staff certification records regarding procedures and guidelines of the federal and state assessment programs. Work with campus staff to identify students’ needs to maintain an appropriate testing program (i.e., accommodations, schedules, etc.). Assist the principal and other building administrators with the interpretation and distribution of all assessment results. Report to the district state assessment coordinator for training and updates. Perform other job-related duties as requested. Regular and reliable attendance is an essential job function. Knowledge, Skills, Abilities & Other Characteristics Effective communication skills, written and oral presentation, and strong interpersonal skills Demonstrated experience in the use of Excel, specifically sorting and filtering spreadsheets Effective organizational skills and attention to detail Working Conditions Mental Demands/Physical Demands/Environmental Factors: Tools/Equipment Used: Standard office equipment including personal computer and peripherals Posture: Prolonged sitting; frequent standing, stooping, bending, pulling, and pushing Motion: Repetitive hand motions, frequent keyboarding and use of a mouse; frequent movement of test booklets, media equipment, desks, and other classroom equipment.
