Responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive speech-language pathology assessments for residents in the facility.
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans addressing communication and swallowing disorders; establish measurable goals and track progress.
- Provide direct therapy services and document progress notes, discharge plans, and compliance with physician orders.
- Collaborate with an interdisciplinary care team to optimize resident outcomes; participate in care planning meetings.
- Monitor safety, infection control, and adjust treatment plans based on tolerance and progress; educate families and caregivers as appropriate.
- Ensure compliance with privacy, confidentiality, and facility policies in line with regulatory standards.

Requirements
- Active North Dakota license as Speech-Language Pathologist (or eligibility to obtain licensure)
- Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
- ASHA CCC-SLP certification or eligibility to obtain certification
- Ability to work in a long-term care environment; comfortable operating in an acute care style setting within a nursing home
- Willingness to participate in a 13-week travel assignment; Days shift
- Ability to meet facility credentialing and background check requirements
