Construction Coordinator

The Construction Coordinator plays a key role in advancing Baytown Habitat for Humanity's mission by coordinating homebuilding and ramp building projects, managing volunteers, working with contractors and suppliers, and helping ensure projects are completed safely, efficiently, and in accordance with Habitat standards. This individual serves as the primary on-site leader during volunteer construction days and works closely with staff, board members, donors, community partners, and homeowners throughout the building process. Responsibilities include project coordination, volunteer engagement, material and contractor management, community outreach, and support of fundraising initiatives. The ideal candidate is a team player who enjoys working with people, solving problems, and making a tangible impact in the community. Experience in residential construction is preferred, but strong organizational, communication, and leadership skills are equally important. This position requires one to two office days per week for planning, coordination, and administrative responsibilities, as well as on-site leadership every Friday and Saturday morning during scheduled construction activities. Weekly hours typically range from 15 to 25. As a small nonprofit organization, all team members contribute to the overall success of Baytown Habitat for Humanity and may assist with fundraising events, volunteer engagement, community outreach, and other organizational initiatives as needed. #J-18808-Ljbffr Baytown Habitat for Humanity
