Med Surg/Telemetry RN

Schedule: Shift: Nights, 3x12 (1900–0700) Weekend requirement: Every other weekend Assignment Details: Contract length: 13 weeks Requirements: NY license in hand required Minimum 1 year RN experience BLS certification NIHSS certification (valid credential must be included with submittal) Experience with MedSurg/Telemetry care Proficiency in dysrhythmia interpretation and management Ability to participate in rapid response/code teams Skills in peripheral line care, oxygen therapy, and non-invasive airway management Familiarity with isolation precautions and PPE Experience with EPIC charting required Roles & Responsibilities: Provide patient-centered care in a MedSurg/Telemetry setting. Monitor and interpret cardiac rhythms and respond to emergent situations. Administer medications and therapies as per protocols. Collaborate with healthcare team members to enhance patient outcomes. Educate patients and families regarding health management and care plans. Compliance / Notes: Candidates local to the facility must reside within a 75-mile radius, although local candidates may be subject to restriction confirmation. Submission requirements include a valid NIHSS credential with the candidate packet.
