Outpatient Orthopedic Physical Therapist

Location: Garner, NC

Assignment Duration: This is a 90-day contract position.

Schedule: 8-hour day shift, with expectations of 36 hours guaranteed and potential to work up to 40 hours per week.

Job Description: The Outpatient Orthopedic Physical Therapist will provide high-quality therapy services in an outpatient setting. The role involves evaluating patients, developing and implementing treatment plans, and managing patient care to ensure optimal recovery and outcomes.

Responsibilities:

• Conduct patient evaluations and assessments to determine appropriate treatment plans.
• Administer therapeutic interventions, including exercises and modalities.
• Monitor patient progress and modify treatment plans as necessary.
• Document patient treatments and outcomes in accordance with facility policies.
• Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to provide comprehensive care.
• Meet productivity expectations of 60 visits per week, seeing 12-14 patients per day, with expected double-booking of follow-up visits.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure:

• Outpatient experience is preferred.
• Physical Therapy Assistant (PTA) candidates will not be accepted.
• First-time travelers and new graduates will not be accepted for this role.
