Activelyparticipatesindevelopmentandmanagementofproject’sgeneralconditions,constructionschedule,projectplanning/phasing,andbuyoutstrategyduring PreconstructionServices Communicateswithsubcontractorsandemployees(alongwiththeprojectmanager)aconsistentlevelofexpectationsanddirectionregardingschedules,constructionmethods,companypoliciesandprocedures,permits,safety/lossprevention,sustainabilityprogram,qualitycontrol,andotherperformancestandards.Ensuresallemployeeshaverelevantsafety/losspreventiontrainingfortheir ProjectStart-upandScheduling Thoroughlyunderstandsprojectspecifications,thecontract,andthecontract’sgeneralconditions,andconfirmsthatallmaterialsandsubcontractworkcomplywithcontractdocumentsandquality Exploresandadvisestheprojectteamonappropriateschangesinmethods,materialsschedules,andprocedures.Ensuresallmaterialsareproperlytestedaccordingtospecificationsandensuresthatalltestresultsareproperlyrecorded. ProjectAdministration,OperationsandClose-out Ensuresthatprojectsiteandcompanyassetsaresecure.Communicatesindividualsafetyroles,responsibilitiesandexpectationstoourclients,Operationsstaff,subcontractors,vendorsandthepublicthatmaintainsasafeandrespectfulworkingenvironmentatall Managesanddocumentsemployeeandsubcontractorproblemsornonperformance(alongwiththeprojectmanager)throughmentoring/training,disciplinaryaction,termination,backcharges,orotherappropriate Reviewsandapprovesallbillsformaterialsandsubcontractorrequisitions.Confirmsthatextrachargesfromsubcontractors/suppliersarereasonableandworkiscorrectlyexecuted.Coordinateswithprojectmanagerforapprovalonextra Facilitatesweeklyprojectprogressandsafetymeetingswithallsubcontractorrepresentativesandcoordinatestheupcomingweek’sPartnerswithLossPreventionProfessionalsassignedtotheprojectsite.Attendsallprogressmeetingswiththeowner/architectrepresentatives. Keepsowners/architectsinformedofprogressthroughoutthelifeofthe Ensuresthattheprojectcloseoutprocessisfinalizedtosettleallfinancialobligations,demobilizeallresources,andtransitiontheprojecttothe PromoteCustomerRelations Buildseffectiverelationshipswithcustomers,designteam,subcontractors,suppliers,andusergroupsthatreflectandsupportcompanycorevaluesandmeetsorexceedsthecustomer’s Makespresentationstoproactivelyseeknewbusinessopportunitiesthrough Culture,LeadershipandEmployeeDevelopment PromotestheCreed.CommunicatesvisionandpurposethroughService,Talent,and Negotiatesskillfullyintoughsituationswithinternalandexternalpartiesbywinningconcessionswithoutdamagingrelationshipsandbeingdirectand Actsinamannerofintegritythatshowssupportforthecompany,itsvalues,andtheemployees,whilemaintainingconstantfocusonmeetingorexceedingcustomerrequirementsand Performotherrelateddutiesasneeded Education,ExperienceandKnowledge BachelorsConstructionManagement,Engineering,Business,orarelatedfieldpreferredand7+yearsofexperience.Dependingupontheprojectsize,scope,andcomplexitytheyearsofexperiencemayvary.
