Schedule: Home Daily | Weekends Very Rarely Required
Hours:

• Full Time: Approximately 50–55 hours per week
• Part Time: Approximately 20–30 hours per week

Position Overview

Elite Transportation, Inc. is seeking a reliable and experienced CDL-A Flatbed Truck Driver to join our team in Mount Vernon, WA. This is a great opportunity for an experienced professional looking for part-time, local driving work with a consistent schedule and excellent home time .

The driver will operate a Class A commercial vehicle on local routes, transporting freight safely and efficiently. The ideal candidate will have previous flatbed experience, a strong safety record, and a dependable work ethic.

Responsibilities

• Safely operate a Class A CDL flatbed truck
• Pick up and deliver freight according to assigned routes and schedules
• Properly secure, inspect, and transport loads in accordance with DOT and company safety requirements
• Perform thorough pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections
• Ensure cargo is properly secured before and during transportation
• Safely load, unload, and handle freight as required
• Maintain accurate delivery and trip documentation
• Communicate professionally with customers, dispatchers, and company personnel
• Follow all applicable DOT, state, and federal regulations
• Maintain a clean and professional truck and work environment
• Report vehicle maintenance issues or safety concerns promptly
• Represent Elite Transportation professionally when interacting with customers

Qualifications

Required:

• Valid Class A CDL
• Minimum 2 years of CDL driving experience
• Clean and acceptable Motor Vehicle Record (MVR)
• Safe driving history
• Reliable and dependable attendance
• Ability to safely operate and maneuver a commercial vehicle
• Ability to comply with DOT regulations and company safety policies
• Strong communication and customer service skills

Preferred:

• Previous flatbed driving experience
• Experience with load securement and flatbed freight
• Experience with local deliveries and pickups
• Familiarity with the Pugent Sound Area is helpful

Schedule & Home Time

• Approximately 20–30 hours per week
• Home every night
• Weekend work is generally not required — approximately 99% of the time, weekends are off
• Local driving position
• Driver will pick up and return the truck in Mount Vernon, WA
