Locums Cardiac Anesthesia Position (Birmingham)

This role involves providing anesthesia services for high-acuity patients, including cardiac, thoracic, EP, and structural heart cases.

Responsibilities include managing approximately 20 cases daily, with shared call duties alongside CRNAs, primarily during weekdays with some weeknights and weekends.

Qualifications require procedural skills in cardiac, EP, and structural heart interventions, along with hospital privileges.

Key duties encompass delivering anesthesia care in a high-acuity setting, maintaining patient safety, and collaborating with healthcare teams.

Ideal candidates should possess strong clinical skills, experience with complex cases, and the ability to manage ASA 3-4 patients.
