Our team focuses on providing treatment based on each individual patient's specific needs. As an RN, you will deliver exceptional care throughout the patient care journey. Additionally, the Cleveland Clinic system provides nurses with many professional development resources, including furthering your education, committee participation and online/in-person courses to enhance your skills even further.A caregiver in this position works nights from 7:00 P M – 7:30 A M, including rotating weekends and holidays.A caregiver who excels in this role will:Provide direct nursing care.Implement, monitor, evaluate, update and revise patient care plans.Monitor, record, document and communicate patients' conditions.Administer prescribed medications and treatments.Note and carry out physician and nursing orders.Assess and coordinate patients' discharge needs.Educate patients and their families.Minimum qualifications for the ideal future caregiver include:Graduate from an accredited school of professional nursing (Diploma, ADN or BSN program)Current state licensure as a Registered Nurse (RN)Basic Life Support (BLS) certification through the American Heart Association (AHA) or American Red CrossAdvanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) and Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) Certifications through the American Heart Association (AHA) or American Red Cross upon or within one yearTrauma Nursing Core Course (TNCC - adult) or Emergency Nurse Pediatric Course (ENPC - pediatric) upon or within 24 months of hireOne year of current acute care RN experience and/or Emergency Department (ED) experience.
