Travel CT Technologist - $2,591 per week

Job Summary Travel CT Technologist position in Bakersfield, California. Duration 13 weeks, 36 hours per week, 12‑hour night shifts. Employment type: Travel. Responsibilities Confirm patient identification, review imaging requests, and explain imaging procedures to patients, providing reassurance and support as required. Interpret doctors' written instructions correctly. Appropriately position patients to scan specific areas of their bodies. Use computerized tomography equipment to capture diagnostic images of patients' internal organs and tissues. Administer radiocontrast agents to patients to enhance the visibility of internal organs and tissues. Evaluate CT scans to determine whether they are of good technical quality. Follow safety procedures when working with radiation. Maintain accurate patient records. Understand and use the McKesson PACS system. Qualifications Minimum 1 year of experience as a Computed Tomography Technologist. BLS certification. ARRT (CT) National Certification and registration in computed tomography. State‑specific licensing when required. Ability to stand and walk for long periods, bend, lean, or stoop easily. Sound knowledge of anatomy, physiology, pathology, and medical terminology. Additional certifications may be required before beginning an assignment. Compensation Pay based on 12‑hour shifts and 36 hours per week (subject to confirmation).
