Responsibilities Maintain a clean and organized store environment with a focus on floor care; operate the scrubber and buffer, dust mop, damp mop, sweep, vacuum, dust, and spot clean glass and windows. Adhere to all operational, merchandise, and loss prevention standards. Cross-train to work in multiple areas of the store to support business needs. Role models established customer experience practices with internal and external customers. Support and embody a positive store culture through honesty, integrity, and respect. Maintain floor care cleanliness standards and operation of floor care equipment. Maintain organizational, cleanliness, and recovery standards for the entire store (Sales Floor, Single Queue, Associate Lounge, Backroom, Restrooms). Comply with company policies on Health and Safety, including refilling essential items in the Lounge, Restrooms, and Front End. Cross-train in other areas (Backroom, Front End, Sales Floor, etc.) and respond to Front End coverage needs. Adhere to merchandising philosophy and signage standards; participate in store recovery as needed. Follow operational and loss prevention controls per company guidelines, including shrink reduction. Communicate accurately and effectively with management and Associates. Follow labor laws and policies, including Associate meal and break periods. Participate in safety awareness to maintain a safe environment. Other duties as assigned. Qualifications Excellent customer service skills. Able to work a flexible schedule to support business needs. Strong organizational skills with attention to detail. Physical stamina to perform cleaning tasks and operate floor buffer and scrubber. Ability to multi-task and adapt to changes in direction or unexpected situations. Strong verbal and written communication skills; listens and responds appropriately. Capable of lifting heavy objects with or without reasonable accommodation. Collaborative team member who works well with peers and supervisors. Retail customer experience is preferred.
