Northrop Grumman's Mission Systems Sector Test Engineering organization is seeking a Staff Electronics Engineer - Antenna Test to be an instrumental part of Northrop Grumman's Antenna Test Development Team.What You'll Get to Do:Test software architecture and development related to phased array testingTest software architecture and development for automating test processes and data analysisLead test software development teams across multiple software projectsMentor early career engineersDefine software requirements based on product test requirementsDevelop test plans and lead software integration effortsSupport production test and lead troubleshooting effortsCollaborate with design engineering for hardware and test improvementsMaintain sensitivity to cost, schedule and quality as well as Northrop Grumman policies and proceduresBasic Qualifications for an Staff Antenna Test Software Engineer:Bachelor’s degree in a STEM discipline with 12 years of experience, a master’s degree in a STEM discipline with 10 years of experience, or a PhD with 8 years of experience in a STEM discipline.Professional software development experience using languages such as C++, Python, etc.Experience with electrical and/or RF test equipment, such as oscilloscopes, power meter, spectrum analyzer, signal generator, etc. Professional software architecture experienceProfessional leadership experience leading software teams through software development projectsLeadership experience through mentoring and/or team leadershipCurrent Active Secret Clearance with Special Access Program (SAP)U.S. CitizenshipPreferred Qualifications:Software development experience with RF and antenna systemsTest software development experience in a nearfield and/or compact antenna rangeRF test experience and/or antenna test/range experienceFamiliarity with RF and antenna theoryProfessional software development experience using MATLAB#MPRPrimary Level Salary Range: $169,000.00 - $253,600.00The above salary range represents a general guideline; however, Northrop Grumman considers a number of factors when determining base salary offers such as the scope and responsibilities of the position and the candidate's experience, education, skills and current market conditions.Depending on the position, employees may be eligible for overtime, shift differential, and a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives.
