Description:
Unit Notes:
Labor and Delivery/ Postpartum Suites with all private suites.
Additional MedSurg rooms available for overflow if postpartum is full.
There is no NICU available.
Unstaffed nursery present; transfer required for higher-level care.
Approximate 30 births per month.
Triage rooms available.
Certification requirements include BLS, ACLS, and NRP; STABLE preferred.
Ratios are based on AWHONN guidelines.
Electronic medical record system is Epic.
Every third weekend rotation is required.
Weekends are defined as Friday, Saturday, and Sunday shifts.
No call requirement is necessary.
Holidays rotate with permanent staff.
Scrubs are provided.
Shift times are from 7 AM to 7 PM and 7 PM to 7 AM.
C-section experience is not required.
C-sections are performed in the operating room.
Assistance with recovery in the PACU is expected.
No floating required unless experience in MedSurg permits.
Cancellation policy varies based on duration of assignment.
