This position is ideal for someone who is mechanically inclined, comfortable using hand tools, and able to perform physical work throughout the day.Wholesale office furniture dealer central Ohio, located in Columbus, OhioWhat's in it for you?Elwood Staffing associates are eligible for a comprehensive and competitive benefits package plus an exclusive savings program, including:Medical/Vision/Dental/Rx plansHoliday PayTeladoc (online care)Referral Bonus IncentiveWeekly Pay401kAnd More!Furniture Assembler Details:Temp-to-Hire position$ 18.00 to $ 20.00 / hourFull Time work availableWeekend work requiredFirst Shift (Monday through Friday from 08:00am to 04:30pm)Assemble and disassemble modular office furniture and furniture systems.Use hand tools safely and efficiently to complete installations.Load, unload, receive, inspect, and move furniture.Assist with deliveries and installations at customer locations.Safely lift and carry furniture and equipment weighing up to 75 lbs.Maintain an organized and clean warehouse, truck, and work area.Follow all company safety procedures and customer-site requirements.Qualified/approved drivers may operate a 26-foot box truck for deliveries. Complete other furniture installation and warehouse duties as assigned.Furniture Assembler Qualifications:Previous furniture assembly experience.Valid driver's license. (for drivers)Experience using hand tools.Ability to frequently lift up to 75 lbs.Ability to stand, walk, bend, lift, and perform physical work for extended periods.Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions.Dependable attendance and punctuality.Applicant may be subject to a background check*A conviction record will not necessarily prevent you from being employed.
