This is a permanent full-time role that will play a pivotal part in our financial planning and accounting strategy. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing all aspects of cost accounting, ensuring accurate and timely financial information is provided to support the company's strategic objectives. Leading the cost accounting function including the development and maintenance of standard costs, bill of materials, and cost analysis. 2. Preparing and analyzing weekly and monthly financial reports, including variance analysis, margin analysis, and costing reports. 3. Overseeing inventory accounting, ensuring accurate valuation, and implementing robust inventory controls. 4. Conducting regular forecasts and budgeting exercises, identifying trends and variances, and presenting findings to senior management. 5. Ensuring compliance with GAAP and IFRS accounting standards. 6. Leveraging SAP and Power BI to automate processes and generate insightful financial reports. 7. Collaborating with cross-functional teams to drive cost efficiencies and improve profitability. 8. Participating in special projects and performing ad hoc analyses as required. Qualifications: 1. A Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field. A CPA or CMA designation is strongly preferred. 2. Minimum of 5 years of experience in cost accounting within the manufacturing industry, ideally within the food and beverage sector. 3. In-depth knowledge of GAAP and IFRS accounting standards. 4. Proficiency in SAP and Power BI. 5. Proven experience in preparing weekly and monthly financial reports and forecasts. 6. Strong understanding of accounting inventory controls. 7. Excellent analytical skills with a strong attention to detail. 8. Strong communication and presentation skills, with the ability to explain complex financial information in a clear and concise manner. 9. A proactive approach to problem-solving, with the ability to anticipate and mitigate risks. 10. Strong leadership skills, with a proven track record of managing a team and driving performance.
