The Quality Inspector will also ensure the correct quality performance reports, that tools and equipment are safe to use, He/she will perform any other duty in a safe, reliable, and efficient manner. The Inspector will perform a range of duties supporting Technician, and shift staff to ensure profitable business operations./ppResponsibilities:/pulliConducting regular inspections and audits of manufacturing process, raw material, finished goods to ensure compliance with quality standard, drawing, specification and regulatory requirements./liliReview EL image and make a pass/reject judgement. Check mechanical dimensions./liliCheck final assembly for finish, labelling, electric output and packaging methods./liliConduct cosmetic, labelling, functional inspection to finish goods and raw material./liliMonitor and respond to daily inspection activities, maintain accurate quality records in computer system./liliCommunicate results and issues to staff, communicate with other department such as Production, Maintenance to take immediate containment actions./liliAssist in the troubleshooting of issues related to machine, material, process, and operators./liliEnsure compliance with product quality and standards, follow work instruction and procedures, ensures production meets schedules and delivery requirements./liliUse and maintain quality control equipment and tools, ensuring they are calibrated and functioning properly./liliComply with team goals and objectives and foster positive staff relationships./liliEnsure that all business activities are performed with the highest ethical standards and in compliance with the Canadian Solar Solution Code of Business Conduct/liliSupport ISO 9001 activities and customer onsite inspection/audit/liliAdhere to all environmental, health and safety rules and policies./liliConduct other duties as required./li/ulpQualifications and Experience:/pulliMinimum high school diploma or equivalent./liliAble to take continental shift./liliPrevious working experience in quality control or a related position within a manufacturing environment preferred./liliUnderstand of manufacturing processes, quality standards, and inspection methodologies, ability to read the drawings and specifications preferred./liliAbility to use measurement tools, testing equipment./liliExisting knowledge of ISO9001 standards, attention to quality and detail preferred./liliAble to work efficiently as part of a team as well as independently./liliComputer literacy, experience with enterprise ERP system or other software and e-mail would be an asset./li/ulpNote: The company reserves the right to change the duties and responsibilities of this position at any time as its own discretion./ppCanadian Solar Inc. is an equal opportunity employer.
