Job TitleAcute Care Pharmacy Tech IIJob DescriptionThe Acute Care Pharmacy Tech II performs duties relating to the filling and dispensing of unit dose and stock medications from the pharmacy to the nursing units and other ancillary departments in a prompt accurate manner. Diploma or GED.Upon hire: Washington Pharmacy Technician License.Minimum of one year (> 2080 clock hours) of pharmacy practice in an integrated health system and current PTCB certification - OR - 2 years (>4160 hours) hospital pharmacy if not PTCB certified.Preferred QualificationsCoursework/Training: Graduation from a Pharmacy Tech program approved by the WA State Board of Pharmacy.Specialty certification (e.g. ACPE approved sterile compounding certification) where applicable by role and state.Experience with Automated Dispensing Machines (ADMs) and electronic health records (EHR).Why Join Providence?Our best-in-class benefits are uniquely designed to support you and your family in staying well, growing professionally, and achieving financial security.
