Maintenance Mechanic Wheeling, IL $28.00 - $32.00 per hour Our client is seeking an experienced Maintenance Mechanic to join their team. Responsibilities Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems. Troubleshoot and repair production equipment, including punch presses, thermoformers, interfolders, conveyors, and packaging machinery. Diagnose equipment failures and implement effective solutions to minimize downtime. Repair, replace, and fabricate machine components as needed. Maintain a safe work environment while following all company policies and procedures. Complete maintenance activities accurately and efficiently to support production goals. Qualifications 4+ years of maintenance experience in a manufacturing environment. Strong mechanical and electrical troubleshooting abilities. Experience with PLCs, machine controls, servo drives, motors, hydraulics, and pneumatics. Ability to read electrical and mechanical schematics. Own basic maintenance tools and test equipment.
