Shift Leader

Pay: From $22.00 per hour Job description: Location: We are located in the Marine Corps Exchange! Job Summary: Popeyes Shift Leader, you will play a vital role in providing exceptional customer service and maintaining smooth operations within the food court. Your responsibilities will include assisting customers, preparing and serving food, maintaining cleanliness, and ensuring a positive dining experience for all patrons. Key Responsibilities: Customer Service: Greet customers with a friendly and welcoming attitude. Assist customers in selecting menu items and provide recommendations. Take customer orders accurately and efficiently. Handle customer inquiries, concerns, and complaints promptly and professionally. Food Preparation and Service: Prepare and cook food items according to standardized recipes and guidelines. Ensure food quality, taste, and presentation meet established standards. Follow proper food handling and safety procedures. Serve food to customers in a timely and courteous manner. Operate cash registers and handle financial transactions accurately. Cleaning and Maintenance: Maintain cleanliness and sanitation standards in food preparation and dining areas. Clean and sanitize utensils, equipment, and workstations regularly. Restock food items, condiments, and supplies as needed. Monitor and maintain proper temperature and freshness of food items. Team Collaboration: Work collaboratively with other team members to ensure smooth operations. Communicate effectively with team members and supervisors. Assist colleagues during peak periods or when additional support is required. Contribute to a positive and cohesive team environment. Be able to Assist General Manager in managing team which include scheduling, team attendance and monitoring breaks Safety and Compliance: Adhere to all food safety and hygiene regulations. Follow proper procedures for handling and disposing of hazardous materials. Maintain knowledge of emergency procedures and protocols. Report any safety concerns or incidents to supervisors. Qualifications and Skills: Prior experience in food service, preferably in a fast-paced environment. Strong customer service skills with a friendly and outgoing personality. Basic math skills for cash handling and order processing. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to work in a team and follow instructions. Knowledge of food safety regulations and hygiene practices. Physical stamina to stand for extended periods and lift heavy objects if required. Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.
