Beraja Medical Institute Onsite Ambulatory Surgery Center has a great opportunity for a Per Diem Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist. The right candidate provides care for a patient before, during and after a medical procedure or surgery by performing a patient assessment, preparing the patient for anesthesia, administering and maintaining the anesthesia to ensure proper sedation and pain management. Responsibilities Patient recovery from anesthesia and post‑operative care. Conduct pre‑operative assessment of surgical patients. Develop and implement anesthesia care plan. Obtain informed consents for anesthesia and related services. Select, obtain, prepare and use equipment, invasive and non‑invasive monitors, supplies, and drugs for administration of sedation, anesthesia, and pain management services; perform safety checks as needed. Monitor patient vital signs during procedure and in post‑operative care and act on significant changes or unfavorable conditions. Consult with anesthesiologist and take necessary actions. Keep surgeon informed of significant changes or events occurring intra‑operatively. Provide didactic and clinical education of students and staff. Participate in monthly department meetings. Report quality assessment findings and quality of care issues to Director of Nursing and Medical Director. Qualifications Master’s degree and a current FL CRNA license. More than 3 years of solid hands‑on CRNA experience. Strong written and oral communication skills. Bilingual English/Spanish preferred but not required. Experience in Ophthalmology preferred but not required. Team‑oriented professional.
