Location: Flint, MI 48502
Position: School Social Worker
Schedule: Full-Time | 35 Hours/Week
Setting: On-Site Preferred | Special Education

A school community in Flint, MI is seeking a School Social Worker for the remainder of the 2026/2027 school year. This role supports students receiving special education services through individual and small-group intervention while collaborating with school teams.

Position Details:

ASAP start through June 11, 2027
Full-time schedule
35 hours per week
On-site preferred
Support students receiving special education services
Provide intervention support in small or moderate group settings
Provide 1:1 student support
Elementary caseload currently available
Potential K–6, middle school, or 7–12 assignments based on school availability
Candidates should indicate their preferred grade level
VOCO may be considered for strong, experienced candidates

Requirements:

Master’s degree in Social Work (MSW) from an accredited college or university
Fully licensed Social Worker or MSW Limited License
Preliminary School Social Worker Certificate (PSSWC), Professional School Social Worker Certificate (PSWC), or School Social Worker Permit (SSWP)
Active LARA license required
