Housekeeping Director

About the Role:
We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Housekeeping Director to oversee the day-to-day operations of our housekeeping department. As a key member of our leadership team, you will be responsible for implementing and maintaining high standards of cleanliness, prioritizing tasks, and supervising a team of housekeeping staff.

Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement effective cleaning schedules and procedures to ensure a clean and sanitary environment for patients, residents, and staff

• Supervise a team of housekeeping staff, providing guidance, support, and coaching to ensure excellent performance and customer satisfaction

• Conduct routine inspections of the facility to identify areas for improvement and implement corrective actions

• Develop and manage budgets, ordering supplies and equipment as needed

• Collaborate with other departments to ensure seamless operations, such as laundry, dietary, and environmental services

• Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local regulations, as well as company policies and procedures

Requirements:

• 0-3+ years of experience in housekeeping or a related field, with a minimum of 2 years in a supervisory or management role

• Strong leadership and problem-solving skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple projects simultaneously

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with diverse populations

• Ability to lift, push, or pull up to 50 pounds, with frequent bending, walking, or standing
