Make a difference for students as a contract school psychologist in a vibrant educational setting near Vermilion, OH. In this supportive environment, you’ll collaborate with educators and families to help students thrive academically, socially, and emotionally.
Key Qualifications & Experience:
- Current certification or licensure as a School Psychologist
- Master’s or specialist-level degree in School Psychology or a related field
- Experience with psychoeducational assessments, report writing, and developing intervention plans
- Familiarity with IEPs, RTI/MTSS, and special education processes
- Strong communication and collaboration skills
- Comfortable working with diverse student populations across various grade levels
Primary Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive evaluations to assess students’ cognitive, academic, social, and emotional needs
- Interpret assessment results and generate clear, actionable reports
- Participate in multidisciplinary meetings to develop individualized education plans (IEPs)
- Consult with teachers, administrators, and families to design appropriate interventions
- Monitor student progress and adjust strategies as needed
- Provide crisis intervention and support as required
