Neurology Physician

We are seeking a Board Certified Adult Neurologist for a locum opportunity in Orangeburg, South Carolina, beginning October 2026. This assignment offers a 7-on/7-off daytime schedule with no call, combining inpatient Neurology coverage with a limited amount of outpatient clinic coverage each day. Assignment Details Start Date: October 19, 2026 End Date: February 28, 2027 Schedule Monday Sunday 7:00 AM 7:00 PM 7 days on / 7 days off No call Telemedicine provides overnight coverage from 7:00 PM 7:00 AM Approximately 3 4 hours of outpatient clinic coverage per day Physician returns to the hospital for inpatient coverage after clinic Practice Setting Adult Neurology Combination of inpatient and outpatient coverage Outpatient clinic located less than 1 mile from the hospital Approximately 5-minute commute between clinic and hospital Stroke consults required Epic EMR Responsibilities Provide inpatient Adult Neurology coverage See outpatient Neurology patients for approximately 3 4 hours daily Provide stroke consultations Transition back to the hospital for inpatient coverage following clinic Collaborate with the clinical team to provide continuity of Neurology care Requirements MD or DO Board Certification required Must hold Board Certification through an American Board Stroke Certification required Fellowship required Epic experience required Active South Carolina medical license OR license ready to be issued at presentation Required submission checklist must be included at time of presentation Travel Lodging covered Standard rental car and fuel OR mileage reimbursement Airfare is not covered Ideal Candidate A Board Certified Adult Neurologist with stroke expertise who is comfortable providing a combination of inpatient and outpatient Neurology coverage.
